Who Are we?
The word Tacú meaning Support.
Tacú  Family Resource Centre was opened to the public in 2003 & 
is here to provide support & service for the local people of Ballinrobe
 and the surrounding areas.
We aim to improve the standard of living by providing
 a confidential, non Judgemental and helpful services
 to families & individuals.

The Centre was established in March 2003 under the
Department of Social & Family Affairs.

The Centre is non-profit making and managed by a voluntary committee
of local people. The Centre employs a Project Co-ordinator
 and project Administrators who are responsible
 for the running of the centre.

COMMUNITY  SUPPORT
We encourage local people to participate in and take ownership
of their communityand to search for ways
 to respond to identified needs
and to get involved in the Family Resource Centre at all levels
 from planning to implementation.
